My garden has been neglected this last fortnight, but my time has been taken up.
My husband has been transferred to a delightful Cottage hospital in Helston, about a half hour's drive. Here he will have some physio and rehab in general.
It is serene, calm and each room is for one person only.
Here he will get better, and hopefully be able to come home soon.
Thank you for the many enquiries.
The cosmos have been lovely but are beginning to go over now. A Dahlia is just starting to flower, a bit late.
The roses have had another flush of flowers.
This is St Swithin (who also has a bit of blackspot)
I love the Gladioli, especially these yellow ones.
On the last of the scabious is perched a beautiful Red Admiral butterfly.
How the plants need cutting back now!
Maybe we will have what we call an 'Indian Summer' at the beginning of September?
