This is how it looks.

Having expected to receive our furniture last Sunday in the afternoon, we were stunned to receive a phone message at 10 am telling us, 'You 'ave delivery. From French'.
Fortunately we were on our way to the house and arrived to find two vans manned by two Lithuanians who had a minimal command of English. A complete contrast to the team who moved us out of our French house, these two managed 'Where this box go?''No tea' and 'You pay now? In cash?' (No)
We now have half the house in the garage and vice versa, due to their inability to read what was printed on the boxes. However, they were strong and coped with all the heavy lifting.
Now I have to find my way through the mountains.
I've found the ironing board but not the iron.
I have no cutlery or mugs except that which I have borrowed.
Neighbours have been very sweet.
Family and friends have given us so much support.
I have had to find, very fast, a heating engineer as we have hot water but no heating. He came, and investigated, and will have to replace the lesser-spotted -fingleflook-valve later this week.
Or whatever it was.
So I'll be on and off the computer , as and when.
